Bridge Repairs – Cameron Overpass over Duke Street
Perform structural repairs and maintenance on the Cameron Station pedestrian overpass bridge over Duke Street. Work includes concrete surface repairs, sealing of expansion joints, resetting or replacing existing bearing plates, replacing a damaged anchor bolt, and repairing spalled or delaminated concrete on piers, abutments, and wing walls.
Holmes Run Trail – Dora Kelley Fair-Weather Crossing Replacement
Replace a washed-out pedestrian crossing on the Holmes Run Trail in Dora Kelley Park and repair the culvert under N. Beauregard Street at Holmes Run. The project will construct a multi-cell precast concrete box culvert crossing with a concrete top slab that will serve as the trail surface, including streambank stabilization/protection measures.
Dental and Vision Insurance Plans
Seeking insurance carriers or administrators to provide comprehensive group dental and vision insurance plans for City of Alexandria employees. Looking for competitive plans with broad provider networks, robust customer service, and optimal coverage for preventive, basic, and major services.
Community Garden Beautification
Help beautify our community gardens by planting seasonal flowers and maintaining garden beds. We're looking for volunteers to plant flowers, pull weeds, and add mulch to garden beds in various community spaces. This initiative will enhance the visual appeal of our public spaces and promote community engagement.
Neighborhood Cleanup Campaign

Little Free Libraries Monitor
Support our Little Free Libraries network by monitoring and maintaining these community book-sharing boxes. Tasks include organizing books, ensuring proper condition of the library boxes, and reporting any needed repairs. Help promote literacy in our community!
Storm Drain Marking Initiative
